The vote for the “Model of the Year 2008” by probably the best known model magazine “Modell Fahrzeug” was eagerly anticipated once again this year. At the prize giving on 27 November in the "gläsernen Manufaktur" (the "transparent factory") in Dresden Schuco managed to secure some of the sought-after awards.

· VW T2a "Porsche" box van 
(1st Position – bussiness1:18)

· Mercedes-Benz LP608 "Martini Racing" box van
(3rd Position – commercial vehicles 1:43 )

 · BMW R80 G/S "Paris-Dakar"
(3nd Position – Two-wheeler)

Schuco would like to warmly thank the readers of “Modell Fahrzeug” for this mark of appreciation of its work at the end of the current year. The results of the readers’ votes can be found in the forthcoming issue of “Modell Fahrzeug”, which will be on sale on 10 December.
